| Bihar STET | - For Secondary Teacher (Class 9–10, Paper-I), candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in the subject with at least 50% marks and a B.Ed. degree. - For Senior Secondary Teacher (Class 11–12, Paper-II), you need a Postgraduate degree in the subject with Second Division along with a B.Ed. degree (not required for Computer Science). Candidates belonging to SC/ST/EBC/BC/Divyang categories get 5% relaxation in marks. |

- Pay Scale (Secondary Teacher, Classes 9-10): ₹31,000 (Level-9, 7th Pay Commission)
- Pay Scale (Senior Secondary Teacher, Classes 11-12): ₹32,000 (Level-10, 7th Pay Commission)).
- Gross Salary: Approx. ₹40,000 - ₹50,000/month, including DA (~42%, ₹13,020 - ₹13,440), HRA (8-27%, ₹2,480 - ₹8,640), TA, other allowances
- Job Tenure: Permanent (upon appointment via BPSC TRE), with NPS pension, medical benefits, paid leaves
- Other Benefits: Job security, promotions to Headmaster/Principal, medical facilities, LTC, professional growth
