Salary
- Pay Scale: ₹21,700 - ₹69,100 (Level-3, 7th Pay Commission)
- Gross Salary: Approx. ₹38,445/month, including DA (~50%, ₹10,850), HRA (24% in Delhi, ₹5,208), TA, other allowances
- Job Tenure: Permanent, with NPS pension, medical benefits, paid leaves
- Other Benefits: Job security, uniform allowance, promotions to Head Constable, medical facilities, LTC
Weightage of Additional Marks
Candidates who have earned a Degree or Post Graduate Diploma from Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) are eligible for additional marks on their examination. These marks are calculated based on the class they achieved in their degree or diploma, as follows:
- Distinction: 5% of the maximum examination marks
- First Class: 4% of the maximum examination marks
- Second Class: 3% of the maximum examination marks
- Pass Class: 2% of the maximum examination marks This policy provides an advantage to candidates with academic qualifications from RRU, rewarding their achievements with a percentage of additional marks on their final score.
Incentives for NCC Certificate Holders
Candidates who possess an NCC (National Cadet Corps) certificate are eligible for bonus marks on their examination. The bonus marks are based on the certificate category:
- NCC 'C' Certificate: 5% of the maximum marks of the Examination
- NCC 'B' Certificate: 3% of the maximum marks of the Examination
- NCC 'A' Certificate: 2% of the maximum marks of the Examination
- To receive this benefit, you must present the original certificate for verification during the Physical Endurance/Measurement Test (PE&MT) or Document Verification.
- The crucial date for eligibility is the closing date for the online application form.
- This incentive is not available for Ex-servicemen.
